The two distinguishing features here are the use of the 7/8 time signature, and the different motion of the harmonies. The arpeggios move in different patterns and the result is that the interval between the notes changes every time. The idea was to create a web of sound where the two parts merge into each other.
In this lesson we'll be looking at my instrumental composition "Rebirth of a Lost world". It's a song that, apart from a lot of cool melodic licks and phrasing ideas, contains a variety of techniques such as: alternate picking, sweeping, slide, tremolo bar, vibrato, legato, and much more.
This beautiful melodic solo will teach you note per note the lead section for Public Alchemy's song Cry. Studying this lesson will strengthen your bend intonation while helping you develop a stronger sense of melody.
Let's get started!
This is a lesson for the solo from Girl From Oklahoma by 80's metal tribute band Steel Panther. It's a nice acoustic ballad solo that has some really nice phrasing and is a great solo to learn to show some nice phrase spacing, major pentatonic use and acoustic soloing.
