Acoustic guitar

7 Sins

PURCHASE THIS LESSON

The two distinguishing features here are the use of the 7/8 time signature, and the different motion of the harmonies. The arpeggios move in different patterns and the result is that the interval between the notes changes every time. The idea was to create a web of sound where the two parts merge into each other.

LESSON FILE INCLUDES:

  • Main video
  • 2 separate videos showing each guitar part
  • 2 speed audio files

This is from a song called 7 Sins by my band Indighost.

The two distinguishing features here are the use of the 7/8 time signature, and the different motion of the harmonies. The arpeggios move in different patterns and the result is that the interval between the notes changes every time. The idea was to create a web of sound where the two parts merge into each other.

The chords move from Bm7 to GMaj7, with an added section of 4/4 linking them together with Asus2 and Bbdim
