This is a country lick by Brant Mason in the key of A.
This is a neoclassical lick with cool tapped arpeggios that I use a lot in my playing.
This lick is about rhythm displacement, we have phrases starting on 1st beat, 2nd beat and even after 16th pause so it creates pretty interesting effect time wise.
Here we have a nice blues Robben Ford Style lick in the key of C which you can use in any 12 bar blues.
This is a pretty fast pattern in A phrygian dominant which works well over many different grooves.
In this lesson are some licks to give examples of playing over a 1 6 2 5 progression, in this case in the key of C.
This time I have a cool country lick in G for you. It is actually 2 licks played together making a full phrase of 4 bars.
