Hi all and thanks for stopping by.
In this lesson I have included my TOP 12 favorite gypsy jazz licks that I like to use when I outline the 2-5-1 progression in major.
All examples are in C major.
The progression:
//: Dm7 / G13 / C6/9 / % ://
I have included the right hand downstrokes/upstrokes and the chords of the rhythm guitar in the TAB,so you can have the full insight of everything that I played.
There are 2 backing tracks in different tempos - 120bpm and 240bpm, which you can use for practicing.
Technique used:
Right hand: Gypsy picking, Alternate picking
Left hand: Legato, hammer on, pull off, string skipping
P.S. You can find the chords for the rhythm guitar in the TABS ( Guitar pro and PDF )
Enjoy and have fun practicing,
Damjan
