Learn to play in 3/4 in a heavy riffing style, and contains a bonus lesson on soloing over it!
This edition of Odd Times is playing in 3/4. A waltz is written in 3/4, as is a song like Always With Me Always With You by Joe Satriani. This helps to give a less rigid flowing feel to the music but this lesson is about using the time signature to create something a bit more rockin. The riffs here have a driving energy to them and carry a different feel to a more rigid 4/4 time.
This also contains a BONUS lesosn on how to solo over the riffs! Playing over different bar lengths and through the occasional key changes provides more of a challenge to just blasting some E Minor licks over some power chords.
