This edition of Odd Times is playing in 3/4.  A waltz is written in 3/4, as is a song like Always With Me Always With You by Joe Satriani.  This helps to give a less rigid flowing feel to the music but this lesson is about using the time signature to create something a bit more rockin. The riffs here have a driving energy to them and carry a different feel to a more rigid 4/4 time.

This also contains a BONUS lesosn on how to solo over the riffs!   Playing over different bar lengths and through the occasional key changes provides more of a challenge to just blasting some E Minor licks over some power chords.

Main lesson contains:

  • Tab in Guitar Pro/PDF/Btimap format
  • Video and slowed down close ups
  • Audio file and 5 backing tracks from 60-120bpm
  • Lesson Explanation in .doc/.txt format
  • Midi File

Bonus Lesson contains:

  • Video of soloing example
  • Slow video of the licks used
  • Audio of solo
  • Explanation of soloing concepts used  .doc/txt
