In this lesson, we are going to learn one of Lagwagonʼs most popular tracks called “Violins”. This track featured on the bandʼs third album “Hoss.”
“Violins” is a straight forward track in C Major but is played at a very quick tempo. Most of the song clocks in around 250bpm except for the outro in which the drummer plays double time and the tempo drops to 220bpm.
The palm-muting during the verse will be a great work out for your alternate picking and palm-muting, however please take it easy and donʼt overdo it because you could strain your wrist trying to play too fast too soon.
